Excipulum with some gelatinous tissue (need section to see clearly), paraphyses irregualrly swollen at or near the apex, occassionally branched; asci with wall slightly thickened at apex, tiny J+ pore; spores elliptic-fusoid, symmetrical in both dimensions, about 13-16 x 2.5-3 µm.
