Public Note:
Apothecia with clumps of large crystals scattered through the excipular tissue and some4 exposed on the surface of the receptacle - these visible macroscopically on dried apothecia. Paraphyses 2 µm, swelling to 3.5-5 µm at clavate apex. Asci 120-130 x 8-9 µm, 8 sp., with croziers, amyloid. Ascospores 14.5-20.5 x 3.5-5.5 (average 173 x 4.5) µm, 0(-1) septate, globose 'ascoconidia' 2 µm diam.
