Specimen notes
Public Note:
the two-spored form. In culture this produces a mass of slimy pink conidia from clamped hyphae. This is not a contaminant and is the stilbotulasnella-like annelidic anamorph - Koske & Perrin 1970 and Berthier - although I see no evidence of annelides (or phialides), just lots of conidia in slime with remnants of hyphal pegs, which disintegrate with maturity, and lots of broken off hyphal ends. I wouldn't call this annelidic. Apparently this only fruits in culture < 15C.
