Public Note:
dried grey. unclamped. NH4OH no reaction on dried cap. There is something odd about NZ Leucoagaricus. Nearly every sequenced collection is different, which may correlate with fine differences in micromorphology, but not macromorphology. Either we have broad species with divergent ITS/LSU or the group is hyper diverse. If the latter then why so different to other agaric groups? Either something driving divergence (insect relations?) or NZ taxa have been released from constraints and are drifting apart.
