Public Note:
2nd track, sticky cap, sticky stem, consistently red at stem base (same as another collection), taste mild. stem with ring zone. Cap a partially gelatinised clamped sub-cutis, content pale yellow in KOH. Cutis gelatinised with brown lumps of pigment. 4-spored. With obvious pleurochrysocystidia (with yellow refractive content) and clavate/utriform cheilocystidia mixed with chryso. spores length=8.8–10.4µm (µ=9.6, σ=0.38), width=5.2–5.8µm (µ=5.4, σ=0.18), Q=1.7–1.9µm (µ=1.79, σ=0.08), n=20. ITS/LSU says gen. nov. and not near chrysmoides/cerea, also gen. nov.
