Public Note:
finely tomentose cap. Sequence near something from Portugal, and not anything else. Has very obvious and variable cheilocystidia. Has the morphological features which most closely match the real L. laccata (neotype sensu Mueller). The bipolar spores size suggests it has some 2-spored basidia as well as 4. Spores length=7.5-11.3µm (µ=8.8, σ=0.86), width=6.9-8.8µm (µ=7.9, σ=0.55), Q=1.0-1.3µm (µ=1.11, σ=0.09), n=20, spines to 1.2 x 0.8um
