pm. Thanatephorous-like. Hymenium black in KOH. Is this actually a smooth spored tomentella and therefore ECM? Basal hyphae brown, unclamped, branching at right angles. spores hyaline to tan. 4-spored. length=4.4-5.6µm (µ=4.8, σ=0.36), width=3.8-4.3µm (µ=4.0, σ=0.16), Q=1.1-1.3µm (µ=1.20, σ=0.06), n=12, broadly ellipsoid. cf.
