Public Note:
see 12673 for photos. Occasional beaks and broad at attachment (Alternaria, not Ulocladium), not with swollen conidiogenous cell (not Stemphyllium). Conidia mostly solitary, sometimes chain of 2-3. To 6 transverse septa, micronematous. Culture with lots of aerial hyphae. Grey. Falls into Simmons section 2 F group from which it seems close to A. limaciformis (ex Triglochin, UK) but this has rough condia. Genbank sequences named this (or near) are from wheat or marine environments.
