Public Note:
fasiculate, tapered at base, and darker, taste mild, cap red in KOH. With hyphal ropes against gill edge. With cheilocystidia showing some blue in patent blue but not convinced chrysocystidia are present and no pleurocystidia. = ZT8595 as Pholiota and PDD 72581 as P. cf. nameko (nameko has a distinct veil).This has been mi-deremined as Pholiota malicola (and it's current name P. alnicola) in both NZ and Au (Fuhrer 237). Clearly not that. 72581 has a sequence clearly within Flammula but not alnicola/pinnicola, which appears to be a species complex.
