Specimen notes
Public Note:
Conidiophore unbranched until apex. Conidia minutely verrucose. sensu Ellis DH2 rather than sensu Subramanian ex Type or Bhat & Sutton. New to New Zealand. Known from Nothofagus in Tiera del Fuego, Ethiopia on Nepeta and India on miscellaneous substrates. Differs from the type by more than 3 cells in the longer arm. DH2 has up to 7, however Subrmanian in his 'Hyphomyectes' synopsis also figures it with more cells (presumably not the type). An anamorphic pleosporales.
