with stem bruising red. No tissue green in NH4OH. No smell. Spores dextrinoid, spurred. Clamped. Cystidia like Mt Bruce collections not observed. Not previous L. calcarata but close. In group with L. castanea.. Spores length=10.1–13.2µm (µ=11.9, σ=0.84), width=3.8–5.1µm (µ=4.4, σ=0.36), Q=2.3–3.1µm (µ=2.70, σ=0.19), n=20. An equal candidate for L. calcarata. Not Egon's aureoguttata as that not stenosporus
