Specimen notes
Public Note:
a very long way from the nearest Nothofagus trees. Grey disks & yellow disks adjacent on collections. Setae unbranched at base. Apical pore not amyloid. Not T. madsenii. These features would make this a Zoellneria? Does not appear to fit Z. eucalypti. Spores length=16.4-18.8µm (µ=17.6, σ=0.7), width=5.8-6.6µm (µ=6.3, σ=0.3), Q=2.6-3.0µm (µ=2.8, σ=0.1), n=11. Note spores appear to have faint hyaline appendages at each end. New to New Zealand. reported to MAF 15/08/2010.
