Public Note:
taste mild. Stem tough and fibrous. Cap black in KOH. Cap a clamped cutis with zebra encrustaion and subcuticular gelatinsation. Dried cap surafec layer flakes off. Spores smooth, thick walled, 4-spored, with small germ pore. With pleuro/cheilocystidia with yellow content and covered in mucilage. Spores length=7.6-8.8µm (µ=8.1, σ=0.4), width=4.8-5.5µm (µ=5.3, σ=0.2), Q=1.4-1.7µm (µ=1.5, σ=0.1), n=14. Spore print Fawn.
