fn70 Gills luteous, stem with coral apex. Taste mild. Smell slightly fruity. FeSO4 grey. Guaiac blue-ish in places. Cap peeling 1/3. Flesh pale yellow under cuticle. Cap minutely felty. With spore print - with no tint. Cap does not show the hairs obvious in the type of R. t. under the dissecting scope. SV-ve, exuding magenta pigment and with violet granules (in subcutis). Has the same apically acuminate strongly refractive cystidia tips as the type. Spores length=8.1-9.6µm (µ=8.7, σ=0.36), width=6.7-7.9µm (µ=7.3, σ=0.31), Q=1.1-1.3µm (µ=1.18, σ=0.07), n=20, ornamentation to 1.4um
