Public Note:
Looks like a corticioid but actually gelatinous, and quite thick. Not peeling. Surface very finely grandinioid (perhaps hust big basidia and spores). With hyphidia, clamped, thick-walled glassy hyphae, collapsed basidia, basidia without basal clamp (myxarioid), options exidiopsis (without gloeocystidia), basidiodendron, bourdotia. Staining brown when bruised. No reaction KOH, NH4OH. Basidia pink in SV but no true gloeocystidia. Spores length=16.0-19.9µm (µ=17.5, σ=1.4), width=4.8-6.2µm (µ=5.4, σ=0.5), Q=2.6-3.8µm (µ=3.2, σ=0.3), n=11, basidia length=17.0-22.4µm (µ=19.5, σ=1.8), width=10.1-11.9µm (µ=10.8, σ=0.6), Q=1.5-2.2µm (µ=1.8, σ=0.2), n=7. C.f. jac11146 Bourdotia galzinii - but with clear gloeocystidia. E. mucedinea has thinner hymenium, indistinct margins, smaller spores and basidia.
