basal hairs brown, with red gill edge, bleeding. stem smooth. Acuminate cheilocystidia (where pigmented), and complex where not. Spores length=7.5–8.9µm (µ=8.0, σ=0.5), width=3.8–4.6µm (µ=4.2, σ=0.2), Q=1.7–2.3µm (µ=1.9, σ=0.2), n=16. . Gills with oleiferous hyphae. Note that for Grgurinovich M. kuuracea does not have basal interveining.
