caulocystidia not seen. Spores length=10.1-11.9µm (µ=10.9, σ=0.6), width=5.1-5.8µm (µ=5.4, σ=0.2), Q=1.8-2.3µm (µ=2.0, σ=0.2), n=7. Siccus length length=2.5-4.4µm (µ=3.5, σ=0.6). This agrees with last collection of this, identified by D. ratkowsky, and differs from M. croceus (which has smaller spores and longer sicci). I've only seen this in grass on tracks adjacent to forest, and not in it. Has it been introduced or is this just a habitat difference?
