material sparse. with clamps, basidia with basal clamp, without gloeocystidia, with thick walled spores, inamyloid. Spores length=5.0\endash5.9µm (µ=5.3, σ=0.4), width=3.9\endash4.5µm (µ=4.1, σ=0.2), Q=1.2\endash1.3µm (µ=1.3, σ=0.1), n=7 Despite the papers remaring on the similarity of H. z to H. polonense it seems to me the cystidia, as drawn by Cunningham, are really very different. This collection fits with H. p. rather than H. z. but I'll leave it placed here. NB the only collection of H. z. that was sequenced by Barbara P is PDD79138. This collection is not currently in PDD (it jumps from 78810 to 79778).
