without distinct cystidia of gloiocephala or physalacria, with dextrinoid reaction of cap, with ornamented stem epithelium. Caulocystidia hair-like, forked at base. 4-spored, spores inamyloid. With thick-walled parallel, poalrising hyphae in stem, with broad buckle clamps. length=8.7–9.6µm (µ=9.1, σ=0.3), width=4.2–4.6µm (µ=4.4, σ=0.2), Q=1.9–2.3µm (µ=2.1, σ=0.1), n=10. Sequence near Typhula sensu stricto and not setigeroclavula, as expected
