Specimen notes
Public Note:
Dried ascoma not staining with KOH, ascospores hyaline, 1-septate, smooth at maturity, to 18um. Ostiole translusecent, not papillate - flat. Actually on a thin lichen mat. Perithecia clustered and seated on substrate but not in a subiculum. Ascoma 500um diam. Bionectriaceae. Ascoma with thick-walled cells, ascoma wall 80um thick. With yellow drops in KOH (Ochronectria?) Some similarities with N. ochroleuca. I can't make anything fit from SIM42,45 etc.
