Specimen notes
Public Note:
flesh greening on bruising. Pat has sequence identical sample as lentistipatus. Possible synonym? Assume his collection did not blue. This does have a relatively pale stipe, and is larger than other squamulosus collections. Hymenium with same broad oliferous hyphae seen in other collections. Cystidia not observed, perhaps some basidiolar. Spores length=11.3–14.0µm (µ=12.5, σ=0.74), width=4.4–5.6µm (µ=4.9, σ=0.33), Q=2.2–2.9µm (µ=2.55, σ=0.20), n=20. No significant difference in spores between 9246 as scabripes, 10883 as squamulosus and this as potentially lentistipatus.
