Public Note:
with thick gelatinsed pellicle making it feel soapy, but not separable. Translucent striate at margin, hygrophanous. With distinct ring zone, stem not bulbous, with white fibrils. Taste mealy. Cap. deep red in KOK. Spore print umber. Spores wrinkled exospore and with plage, no germ pore. 4-spored, tissue clamped. Cheilocystidia lecythiform, caulocystidia cylindrical, pleurocystidia absent. Spores 8.6-10.5(9.3) SD0.6 n=14 x 4.6-5.7(5.2) SD0.4 n=12. (perhaps some 2-spored and bigger?). BFF7 section calyptrospora/tibiicystidiae - calyptrata and maybe cerina. Smith to subsection mycenopsidae (neck > 3um) but has to be that group - stirps triscopa - g. cinctula and unicolor except cheilocystidia wrong. Cheilocystidia to 50um long, neck 6um, head 12um. see 9857 and taxa identified as G. unicolor.
