[PL]70mm diam. x 60mm stipe x 20mm. cap convex, margin sulcate, weakly squamulose, red brown. Gills adnate, cream in 1-2 series. Stipe irregular, hollow, with ring zone 4/5 way up. White above, red-brown below. Spores subglobose 6-7 x 4-5, white 4.8-6.1 x 41.1-5.3 av 5.5+-0.4 x 4.6 +- 0.3um, Q= 1.06-1.45, av 1.2+-0.13. [JAC] cutis gelatinised, hyaline. Sub cutis brown. Occasional hyaline hyphae in cutis with grossly ornamented zebroid encrustation (quite distinctive). Hyphae to 4um diam. unclamped. Spores small length=5.2–6.5µm (µ=5.8, σ=0.38), width=3.5–5.1µm (µ=4.5, σ=0.36), Q=1.0–1.5µm (µ=1.31, σ=0.10), n=20. PDD number as 101814 was incorrect. This is PDD94390
