Specimen notes
Public Note:
Specimen with two diatrypaceous fungi, one with ostiolar necks with 8-spored asci; the Diatypaceae wihout obvious ostiolar necks. The Diatype-like species seems to be more common, but it was the Diatrypella that was cultured and sequenced. Asci around 15 um wide, similar to the D. vulgaris description.
