Public Note:
Specimen in nice condition. Tiny, sessile disc, more or less urceolate, translucent yellowish with whispy hair-like elements, excip nongelatinous, hairs short, tapering to rounded apex, thin-walled, smooth, hyaline; asci about 110 x 7.5 µm, subfusoid, wall barely thickekned at J+ apical pore; spores 26-36 x 3.5 µm, long-cylindric, taper slightly and gradually to base, both ends rounded, becoming several septate, long phialides at ends, forming globose ascoconidia (2.5 µm diam.); paraphyses 2.5 µm diam., undifferentiated at apex.
Chalara-like conidiophores on outside of receptacle - hyperparasitic with some apothecia heavily infected.

PDD 60105, PDD 93118, PDD 119587 with the same ITS sequence. Phylogenetically isolated within Helotiales. Tiny, sessile apothecia, large distinctive ascospores with ascoconidia.
