Muriform ascsospores, about 3 x 11-14 µm, 5-7 cross septa, 2-3 longitudinal septa in central cells. Apothecia sessile, superficial, outer layer of matted, hair-like elements. Asci large, broad-cylindric with amyloid apical pore. PDD 49026 and PDD 93114 are the same species
