Specimen notes
Public Note:
This has Flagelloscypha like whip hairs, some of which are encrusted. However the hairs are superficial, not buried in the hymenium, they are branched at the encrusted base, and there are very obvious thin-walled inflated hyphae. Spores smaller than F. pseudopanax length=6.3–7.0µm (µ=6.6, s=0.28), width=2.3–3.0µm (µ=2.7, s=0.22), Q=2.2–3.0µm (µ=2.51, s=0.25), n=8. This is Incrustocalyptella pseudopanicis without doubt. So morphologically at least this is different to F. pseudopanax.
