Public Note:
[PL] cap applanate, dry, felty, grey becoming slightly vinaceous with age. 30mm diam. Lamellae distant, deeply decurrent, grey, strongly inetrvenose. Stipe pale grey 35mm x 6-7mm, cylindrical, somewhat twisted. Spores 5-7 x 4-5 ellipsoid to balloon shaped. pp a cutis. Not in Horak. Not C. griseorufescens. No reddening of stipe or flesh, and in grassland. [JAC] with the exception of being in grassland this fits C. canus (or the US C. canescens).
