Specimen notes
Public Note:
The photo on the packet does not look like any of the current Hidden Forest pics for this species, and has acute furcate apices.Spores with blunt echinula, trama clamped, 4-spored. Spores 8 x 4um. Stipe base from collection does not have a mycelial mat/rhizoids. Stipe > 1mm. Sequence same as PDD92062 and JAC14498 and JAC14499. It is not near deposited material as R. gracilis (which may or may not be correct) and is near material from Europe and USA labelled R. suecica, but in subgenus Lentoramaria (but not near Phaeoclavulina). Petersens species are sclerocarnosa, polypus and filicola. No Australian sequences of the latter available unfortunately. Is ths R. filicicola?
