Mycelial layer present, binding debris, peristome coarsely fibrillose (not sulcate), delineated, endoperdium stalked, surface finely tomentose. Spores not pedicellate. Not G. ambiguum/drummondi sensu Grgurinovich or Cunningham. Material has a torn collar around the stalk.
