Public Note:
Sequence indicates this is quite a different group to most Hygrocybes, and with possible relation to the northern H. flavescens and chlorophana (section microsporae). This has rather dull colours, certainly when dried, compared to other collections as H. blanda sensu lato, and has distincty decurrent gills. KOH on the cap a purplish colour. PP an ixocutis. I think this cannot be a candidate for H. blanda.
