On soil, not dung. Without chrysocystidia (but very small number of basidia olivaceous grey in KOH), without pleurocystidia, spores more or less smooth but showing minute rugulosity in KOH & Melzers (centre top of photo), with clamps, 4-spored, cheilocystidia lageniform, sinuose. Spores 14.6-15.8(15) SD0.4 n=11 x 9.6-10.2(10) SD0.2 n=5 x 9. With the faintly rugulose spores this has to be P. olivaceous rather than papilionaceus, fimetaria etc. New to NZ. Reported to MAF 2/07/2010 Sequence saya same as JAC10551 as acuminatus.
