Specimen notes
Public Note:
Looks like Galerina patagonica. spore deposit fulvous. Cap an ixocutis. Stem tough. No chrysocystidia. Clamped. 4-spored, smooth, without germ pore (or very small). Gills adnate. Cheilocystidia and caulocystidia capitate. No pleurocystidia. Spores 6.5-6.9(6.8) SD0.1 n=12 x 3.7-4.1(3.9) SD0.1. Looks like ZT0591 (Kuhneromyces). Phaeogalera or Smith's Galerina section mycenopsis, subsection tibiicystidiae, stirps sideroides.? G. sideroides is recorded for NZ by Colenso but Egon didn't see anymaterial. This looks more like images of stylifera but that with strong veilar zone. Synonimised by some authorities anyway. I bet this comes out near the kuhneromyces/pholiota/P. montana/G. sideroides group in sequences.
