Specimen notes
Public Note:
Dried a surprising pale salmon colour. Gills arcuate. lilacipes/ostrinus/lilacinoides. Spores 8.6-10.9(9.6) SD0.7 n=10 x 5.7-6.5(6.1) SD0.2 n=10. The spores of this are bigger than any of these species, but spores are very variable in Hygrophoraceae anyway. The remarkable change of colour of this taxon from the colour shown in the photo to salmon pink makes me think this is closest to ostrinus - despite differences in spore size. But how different are they all anyway? Sequence close to G. psittacinus as expected.
