Specimen notes
Public Note:
Hyaline fibrils on stem very distinct. Cap with nipple. Hygrophanous. no sign of a ring. 4-spored, spores smooth, without pore, gills without pleurocystidia, no chrysocystidia. Spores 6.5=7.1(6.8) SD0.3 n=10 x 3.6-4.1(3.8) SD0.2 n= 10. Clamped. Assume a Galerina. Nothing in BFF7. Wood to subpumila but not that. Nothing in Gulden. G. stylifera assumed a synonym. Note that spores are more phaseoliform in NZ collections than Fungi non-deliniati 23. Are these smooth spored galerinas on wood actually closer to Pholiota? Looks like Kuehneromycs from NZ but that with very different cystidia and germ pore.
