Specimen notes
Public Note:
like last but stem sturdier and ring thinner and yellowing slightly at stem base. Fibrils also going dark green in KOH like last. Gills drying white. Spores with metachromatic endospore and cheilocystidia. 4-spored, strongly dextrinoid. No pleurocystidia. Cheilocystidia strongly encrusted with crystals. Without clamps. Cap a cutis of hypahe over broader cylindrical subepidermal hyphae. Cap hypahe with brown plasmatic content. No zebra stripes. Possibly slightly dextrinoid. With small internal crystals. Spores 7.5-8.5(7.8) SD0.4 n=7 x 4.7-5.1(4.9) SD0.2 n=7. Same taxon as 9509 & 9882. Not darkening on drying. Like L. purpureorimosa this has cheilocystidia with crystals. Microscopically identical to 10487 from same site. See also 9822 and 9509. length=7.4–8.4µm (µ=7.9, σ=0.29), width=4.3–4.8µm (µ=4.5, σ=0.16), Q=1.7–1.9µm (µ=1.76, σ=0.08), n=7
