forming tightly packed synnema on host, pinkish violacous hue. Granulomyces synanamorph absent. Conidiophores to 100um. Conidiophores sometimes granulose but stopping short of apex. G. leiopus rather than pulchra (wholly granulouse, longerconidiohores and looser synnema). New record for NZ. Reported to MAF 2/07/2010
