Specimen notes
Public Note:
nitrous smell, with small fimbriate basal disc. Gill and cap tissue vinaceous in melzers, with thin ornamented ixocutis, with occasional acute pilocystidia, cheilocystidia pyriform with apical extensions, mainly 4-spored and some 2-spored, amyloid. Is there a continuum between pure white forms of this and brown/striate forms? In which case this is the same as 10012 & 9411. 4-spored = length=6.9–7.7µm (µ=7.4, σ=0.28), width=3.7–4.4µm (µ=3.9, σ=0.29), Q=1.7–2.0µm (µ=1.91, σ=0.11), n=7
