Public Note:
M. pura group. Gills with strong basal interveining. Gill edge paler than dark gill face. Stem drying black. Base hairy. All tissue strongly dextrinoid. Cap hyphae unornamented. 4-spored 7.3-8.5(7.8) SD0.4 n=13 x 3.9-4.8(4.4) SD0.3 n=13., rare pleurocystidia, cheilocystidia emerging from layer of parallel hyphae on gill edge, most with rounded apex but a few with acuminate apex. Without darker gill edge. In the group with vinacea, fuscovinacea, vinaceipora (that with dark gill edge and poroid appearance and paler stem) etc, but not consistent with any.
