Public Note:
2 spored, spores ellipsoid, minutely wrinkled in Melzers, smooth in cotton blue and broader(!), not cyanophilous, no cystidia, clamps not observed, exuding carotenoid fat globules in lactophenol. My records of Clavaria (Clavulinopsis) sulcata need re-evaluating perhaps (altho those mostly sulcate). Not sure what to make of this taxon! sequence is a penicillium
