Specimen notes
Public Note:
Ian Dickie's 5238. Not taiepa. Has grey cap. This has nearly no gill edges that are brown and so is atypical for A. pekeoides. However it does show the characteristic band of parallel hyphae which when brown become gelatinsed in #1. Not howvere that it also has clear globose cheilocystidia in the unpigmented areas. So #1 is more specificaly defined by gill edge with band of parallel hyphae, in pigmented areas becoming disrupted (gelatinised), if with clear cheilocystidia then those present only in unpigmented areas and frequently catenate.
