Specimen notes
Public Note:
fruitbody dried very tough (like it's dimitic). Cap a cutis, with extra-cellular pigment, and broad separating clamps, 4-spored, with obvious gloeosphex cheilocystidia (!), no pleurocystidia, no tissue amyloid or dextrinoid, spores 9-9.6(9.3) SD0.3 n= 6 x 7.1-7.7(7.3) n=7. What on earth is this?! Originally put in Omphalina for convenience. Sequence data indicates this is a indeed a stipitate Hohenbuehelia.
