Specimen notes
Public Note:
Collected as a Calocybe. White rhizoids at base, no smell, mild taste. Cap a cutis of agglutinated hyphae. Spores inamyloid, no cystidia, 4-spored, angular, not cyanophilous, unclamped, gills with oleiferous hyphae (which I suspect are pseudocystidia but hyaline in KOH), no cheilocystidia. Spores 6.8-7.7(7.3) SD0.4 n=4 x 4.3-5.1(4.8) SD0.3 n=4. Some discrepancies with Egon's description but that based on a single collection. Doesn't fit anything in Gen & Bandoni's paper on Tasmanian Rhodocybe. 2nd collection after type. What about maleolens?
