Public Note:
gills drying cream, cap still with violaceous hue. Becoming dark violet in KOH & NH4OH - finally dark blue in KOH and leaching. Spores thick-walled, free remaining in tetrads, weakly dextrinoid (and vinaceous rather than brown), cap tissue unclamped, possibly dextrinoid, cheilocystidia and endospore metachromatic. Spores 7-8.3(7.7) SD0.5 n= 10 x 4.1-5.3(4.5) SD0.4 n= 9.
