Specimen notes
Public Note:
gill edge concolorous, spores 6-sided, cap not zonate, densely fibrillose, cap pigment extra- and intracellular, no clamps, no cheilo or pleurocystidia (altho possibly very rare cylindrical septate cheilo), spores isodiametrical 8.4-11(9.2) SD0.8 n=10 x 7.2-9.2(8) SD 0.6 n=10. Nordeloos to flocculosum/rusticodes. E. phaeocyathus with unusual cheilocystidia which this does not have (in abundance). The fibrillose cap and colour puts this closest to E. flocculosum even tho rusticoides is known from dune systems. Reported to MAF 2/07/2010. Sequence says art of the rusticoides grup and E. graphitipes.
