Bleeding red and with red gill edge. Stem basal hairs brown (in dried material). Cap and trama dextrinoid. Cap cells not hymeniderm. Spores amyloid ellipsoid, 9-10x6um. Cheilocystidia and pleurocystidia acuminate. Cap hyphae with small outgrowths. 4-spored.
