Public Note:
Spores amyloid 8.5x4um collapsing. Cap a ramealis trichoderm with a conglomerated surface layer and very thick walled hyphae (dimitic?) and crystals. Cheilocystidia cylindrical. Exuding oil droplets into melzers. Gill trama dextrinoid. Clamps not seen. The same Panellus as collected several times. Many Panellus species have narrowly cylindrical spores - but not all. Molecular work indicates Panellus stipticus next to Resinomycea acadiensis- and this taxon looks macroscopically like a Resinomycena.
