Specimen notes
Public Note:
seated on a subiculum (like Tapesia) but not dense (so not Porothelium/Stigmatolemma). Receptacles cupulate, cups easily dislodged and without obvious attachment stem. Spores subglobose 6um, not amyloid. Hairs brown but paler towards apices, encrusted, none with inflated apices. WM Cooke 1979 to Lachnella. Agerer to Rectipilus. Doesn't fit anything in Cunninghm. Keys to L. sulfurea but not that. Why not Merismodes? Because hairs not inflated [23/8/07]
