Public Note:
white, solitary, simple clubs, with Hygrocybe. Dried surface peelable showing fibrous interior. Unclamped, monomitic, without oil drops in melzers, spores small 5x3.5, smooth, 2,3,4-spored. Not easy to see if bases of basidia are forked, even in extreme squash. They are sinuous and intertwined. I would say not furcate in which case this to c.f subacuta but this not densely cespitose (but then neither is TENN 55812). see also c. taxon n3
