Public Note:
cap hygrophanous, tacky, with separable pellicle (not elastic). Taste not bitter. cap dark red in KOH. Stem with silvery fibres. Spores brown smooth, ellipsoid, thick-walled, 7x3.5um, thinning of spore wall (but not pore), cap a cutis with broad clamped hyphae, gelatinised, cheilocystidia lecythiform forming white sterile edge to gill, pleurocystidia absent, stem base white tomentose. Spores tan in KOH and very (very) few cheilocystidia chrysocystidia? Nothing in Holec. Not Tubaria. see 8976.
